Punky Brewster Starts Eco-Baby Clothing

Soleil Moon Frye has launched an eco-baby clothing line under the same name as her specialty boutique for baby clothes and accessories, The Little Seed. Located in Los Angeles, the store has been hugely successful at making green baby clothes stylish. Inspired by the lack of nontoxic options for new mothers, Soleil's new line of funky baby clothes keeps it fun with a color palette resembling the inside of a candy store.  The designs have earned the support of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher who attended the launch party.

The boutique was founded in 2007 with two close friends, Paige Goldberg Tolmach and Beth Birkett, to provide mothers with alternatives that were healthy for their children and healthy for the earth. Popular products include organic swaddling blankets and wipes, but they also sell bedding and toys. The Little Seed has the goal of making eco-friendly motherhood easy, affordable and trendy.
