 Amber Hagen, a Harvard Law School graduate and former lawyer, had been knitting since high school. Originally, her hobby to knit was used to provide her friends and family with gifts, but the cult following that grew in response made her reconsider her corporate future.So, in 2004 she launched a clothing line, and what began as a grassroots consumer base became more and more formal, and more and more demanding, eventually reaching boutiques and department stores.
